Really in depth review. Nice read. I would like a review from you as well if you are that good. But then again you may not have the time.

I guess sometimes other books need to bring in the basics for beginners. However, it bores the professionals. i guess each book will still depend on its audience.

Good review. If I were shopping for a web server, I'd definitely pick up a copy.

I feel the same way you do about tech books. I hate those two or three initial chapters on remedial topics. Only occasionally have I found them really useful.

The review chapters at the beginning of VPNs Illustrated is great. And all of Bruce Schnier's Applied Cryptography is gold from cover to cover.
